Phillipa is Chief Risk Officer for the Maples group and is a member of the MaplesFS executive management team. She has been with the Maples group since 2002 and in her current role has responsibility for the group’s global compliance team. Phillipa also manages the Maples group’s various regulatory and compliance services teams, including FATCA and alternative investment fund management ("AIFM") services, and serves on the boards of the firm’s AIFM entities, Ceres Fund Management (Cayman) Limited and MPMF Fund Management (Ireland) Limited. Phillipa has extensive knowledge of the operations of the MaplesFS lines of business, including Maples Fund Services and Maples Fiduciary, focusing on business processes, policies and procedures as well as identifying areas of operational risk and ensuring the necessary controls are in place to mitigate them on a global basis.
Professional Background
Prior to joining the Maples group in 2002, Phillipa was an executive director at Goldman Sachs International in London and before that, worked for Swiss Bank Corporation.
